1 years and 2 months ago I left my own country (Italy) to work in Thailand. It was my first time in Asia and I can surely say that I will never forget this experience; it was a full immersion in a completely different culture, rich of colors, food of all types and smiles that made me consider this amazing country a great place to stay more than a short holiday. It’s impossible to understand and see everything in a short time in Thailand, it could be a temple, a park or a simple market, but nothing can be appreciated more when you start to feel confident with the people, with the rhythm of the life here. It’s completely different.

Despite Bangkok that is one of the busiest cities I’ve ever visited, Thailand is definitely a place to chill and enjoy simple things; from a simple walk inside a floating market, a lunch in one of the million restaurants in every angle of the country, or a day in one pristine beach in the islands that Thailand is famous for. There’s literally everything here. I never felt unsafe and people here were always ready to help you or in some way giving you support for everything.

I’m still shocked how the people are so kind, not only with foreigners but between each other. It was a feeling that made me happy most of the days I spent in this beautiful country.
I cannot say that this is heaven for everyone, like all countries, this one has its own problems, but there are few compared to the life a foreigner could have here.

Thai people made my days better most of the time, and moreover, here, you will never feel alone. I wish I could speak Thai to connect more with the locals, and this was one of the issues I faced here; they rarely speak English, especially outside the big cities and sometimes could make you feel frustrated.

I made a step forward in the equipment I use and I bought the Canon 5d Mark IV, I never had an issue in every light condition, the camera can easily hold high ISO sensitivity and high contrast scenes without any problem. I could easily bring out shadows without losing details and with the fast AF system I hardly lost any photographic opportunity.

It was an huge improvement from the previous camera I used and I will keep updating my website with new pictures done with this amazing gear I finally got.

I hope you will enjoy this article and I’m planning to write more on my blog to share my adventures and my experiences all around the world.
